Dr. Spatzer is an integrated clinical psychologist who has clinical experience working with a wide range of disorders and presenting problems as well as with clients seeking assistance managing major life stressors, challenges and transitions. She offers a collaborative approach to treatment and provides an environment of acceptance, warmth and respect that allows her clients to gain insight, self-efficacy, and empowerment while working toward an ultimate goal of well-being, growth and healing.

Dr. Spatzer predominantly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to deliver tailored treatment to her clients. She has worked in a variety of settings including: private practice, residential facilities, detention centers, hospitals and community mental health facilities. Dr. Spatzer works with children, teens, adults, and couples. She has a special interest in working with clients with depression and anxiety as well as children and teens with behavioral problems.

Dr. Spatzer is also employed with Fairfax County Community Service Board as an Independent Evaluator and is certified as an Expert Witness in the state of Virginia.
